Faculty

We are judged by the faculty we keep. The criteria for appointment, retention, tenure and promotion are designed to attract the highest caliber faculty who continuously strive to enhance their knowledge and teaching effectiveness.

ITM prides itself in enjoying the unique distinction of being the first and perhaps only college to pay the revised pay scales notified by University Grants Commission (UGC) on the recomendation of the VI th Pay Commission.

The faculty constitutes the core academic resource. Whilst their principle responsibility is teaching, members of the faculty also act as expert advisors to the Government and contribute advice and analysis on their subjects to the media.

In addition, eminent Professors and subject experts are also invited as a matter of routine. aggregation of some of the finest faculty makes learning a wonderful experience at ITM.

Faculty at ITM are sensitive to academic and development needs of students;knowledgeable about the curriculum and requirements; accessible on a regular, predictable basis and concerned about the welfare and development of their students.
