Publications Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering The department of CSE& IT publishes one journal and one magazine:
Till date, Six volumes of VOYAGER have been published. Editor: Smita Rajpal Department publishes annually DOSSIER-The technical magazine for students.
The aim of publishing this magazine is mainly to share the students’
articles of pedagogic type, to share students’ views on emerging technologies
in the area of Computer Science & IT (and in other related fields)
among the ITM readers as well the readers of the outside world, and
also to attract the rich contribution featuring innovative and practical
technologies of the ITM alumni for publication. First issue of DOSSIER
has been published in March-April 2007 and next published in Jan-Feb’08. Dept. of ECE, & EI
Editor: Dr. Manoj Pandey Frequency: 2 issues per year Livewire First published in June 2005, livewire is a multi-dimensional bi-annual publication, which serves as a national readership for engineering professionals. It is one of the premier referred publications in this field. It provides technical knowledge in current and future technologies in the subject areas of electronics, communication, computers, and instrumentation engineering, and academic details in engineering education as a whole, teaching methodologies, and Industry-Institute Interaction. It has career section specifically dedicated to students. The contributions to this publication are from faculties and students alike. Dept. of Mechanical Engineering
IMPULSE First published in June 2005, Impulse is a multi-dimensional bi-annual publication, which serves as a national readership for engineering professionals. VANI First published in July 2004, Vani is a biannual journal of the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities. It presents a spectrum of stimulating articles on various current issues of national and international importance. Vani endeavors to provide a platform to the academicians of diverse fields like Pure and Applied Mathematics, Vedic Mathematics, History of Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytic Chemistry. Medicinal Chemistry. Material Chemistry, Bio informatics, Nano technology, DNA Sequencing, Laser Technology, Optical Fibers, Holography, Optical Instruments, Solid State Physics, Economics and Management, Business Communication, English Language and Literature, to encourage interdisciplinary learning for continuous and sustainable development in respective field. Vector Tech ITM brings forth its biannual newsletter entitled Vector Tech. As the name suggests, it gives a round up on the significant events at ITM. It throws light on the magnitude of achievements of ITM ites and the direction in which the Institute heading. It includes the views of the Governing Body on the progressive future of ITM, and the developments that are in the pipeline to make ITM as one of the premier Institutes in the country. The newsletter shows how the ITM family strives to bring laurels to the Institute; be it sports, games, cultural events, career advancement, R & D, welfare activities, etc. | ||||
