The Single Standard - What matters at ITM

ITM is an unusual Institution. Although privately established, it is a public institute - it welcomes students of every background. Yet it is also highly selective, attracting the same students who are prized by the best colleges in the country. While these two dimensions of ITM's identity - the public and the selective - may at first seem at odds, a single idea brings them together; the idea of merit. The Institute is open to men and women of all backgrounds, all states and all Nations who demonstrate convincingly their ability to achieve and contribute here as students, leaders and citizens.
